Logo system
Sixteen SVG asset files. Primary lockup in six color treatments. Symbol mark in four. Wordmark-only in three. Tagline lockup in three. Plus a working logo animation. All transparent backgrounds, all in Geist Bold, all using the Round-9-rebuild palette.
Primary lockup
Signal block plus wordmark. The default identifier. Six variants cover every ground in the palette plus mono fallbacks for grayscale and single-ink contexts. The first three are the working lockups; the last three are fallbacks for constrained reproduction.
Clearspace
Minimum clearspace around the primary lockup is one signal-block height on every side. No copy, image, or other element may enter that space. When in doubt, more space is correct.
Minimum size
Primary lockup minimum width: 120px on screen, 0.75 in in print. Below that, switch to wordmark-only or symbol-only.
Symbol · the signal block
The symbol mark in isolation. Used wherever the wordmark won't fit — favicon, app icon, social avatar, dock icon. The signal block is the brand at small scale.
App / favicon scale
The symbol holds at 16 px by virtue of being a square. No anti-aliasing concerns, no detail collapse. Use the yellow variant unless the deployment context owns its own ground (e.g. macOS dock prefers a self-contained icon — use the yellow on a Carbon backplate).
Bare reproduction
The symbol is the absolute minimum brand reproduction. If you can only ship one mark, ship the yellow signal block. Anywhere it appears, the brand is present.
Wordmark only
Without the signal block. For tight contexts where the lockup won't fit: email signatures, footer marks, footnotes, citations, body-copy mentions of the product name set in brand voice.
Tagline lockup
Wordmark, signal block, and the working tagline "For the work you said you'd do." set in Geist Regular below. Used on hero surfaces — landing pages, business cards, presentation covers — where the buyer needs the full statement.
Tagline status
"For the work you said you'd do." is the working tagline. Locked once a final tagline is chosen in Wave 4. The lockup files use it as the working text; alternative taglines slot in by editing the SVG <text> element.
Don't shrink the tagline
The tagline lockup minimum size is 240 px wide. Below that, the tagline becomes unreadable — switch to the primary lockup (no tagline) or the wordmark-only.
Scale ladder
How the primary lockup behaves from hero scale down to favicon. Below 120 px wide, the primary lockup gives way to the wordmark or symbol.
File inventory
All sixteen files in design/assets/logos/. SVGs reference Geist via Google Fonts @import — they render correctly in any modern browser when opened standalone. For print delivery, outline the text in Illustrator first.
